Holiday Parties

Sincere Apolgoies since I know I'm rather delayed with my posts!! But that's life, between work and Miss Avery sometimes there's not enough time in the day.  Plus we are suppose to be living life not chained to these computers!! Live the holidays we did!! We hosted two holiday parties at our new house this season.

The first was our annual Friendsgiving with Mommies High School friends.  Mommy and Daddy made a turkey, stuffing and mac and cheese while everyone else brought the remaining side dishes and dessert.  It was a full blown feast and we had an amazing time as usual! We finished the night all snuggled up in the basement watching SNL together with 20 blankets - I loved every minute.

In between the parties at the house Mommy had her work holiday party. This year we went to Bottle and Bottega and painted a huge Chicago skyline mural that is now up in our kitchen at the office.  It was such a fun afternoon, every team got to take a canvas and then we combined everything together.

Our next party was our annual Christmikkah which we host every year! We finally have enough space for everyone.  Dave and I make ham and everyone either brings a Christmas or Hannukah item.  After dinner we have a gift grab bag which is always hysterical.  This year Adam, Katie and James were able to join us as well which was extra special! They spend the night too so we got to have lots of time with them!!

That Sunday we went over to Quinn's house for a holiday get together! We had all the girls ages 4- 16 months and they had so much fun playing together.  We made homemade pizzas and had a gift exchange and an impromptu dance party!
