Florida for New Years Eve

We headed back to Florida on December 27th to get out of the cold and into the heat for New Years Eve.  We were looking forward to continuing our vacation.

On the flight with Nana, Daddy, Mommy and Papa

We wanted to make sure we spent a lot of time outside even though it was really hot.  We biked over to the butterfly garden in Bonita Bay and took a walk through that area all together. It was so beautiful looking at all the different butterflies that migrate to certain trees and plants.  We also took daily walks and bike rides through the area to the park every day.

Avery is such a pro at going out to nice dinners so we didn't disappoint her for NYE, we had dinner at Roy's which was delicious.  She was an angel as usual at dinner and had so much fun playing with all her toys and eating.

We still hadn't gone to Nana and Papa's country club for dinner so on Friday night we headed over to try it out.  It's a huge production and there are a ton of members.  Every Friday they have a live band and dancing in the bar which was tons of fun!

In addition to going to the beach every day we tried to take a break on a slightly overcast day and tried the Naples Childrens Museum.  Avery LOVED it!! There were so many different areas for her to play in.  A season's section, a play kitchen, dress up, foam obstacle course.

On our last night in town we made sure to get together with our good friends Lorin and Aaron.  It was so great to see them and catch up even if it was just for a night.  We went to a new spot that was bring your own food and had a nice beer list and tons of games to play.  It was a cool atmosphere.

Our last day in Florida the weather turned.. it was 60 out and we wanted to get one last trip to the beach under our belts before coming back to snow.  We were the only ones there but Avery had fun running around, collecting shells and chasing birds.
