Three Month Photos

It's no secret that Mommy is obsessed with having photos taken of our little angel.  So we've decided to have photos taken of the family every three months so we can watch the progression of our little peanut.  It's so amazing to see what's changed in just three months.  Here's a look from the day:

Happy 31st Birthday Mommy

Another year has one by, but I must say 30 was an amazing year.  I was given the best gift - my beautiful Avery Nell.  I have no doubt that 31 will be just as exciting as we watch her grow and develop. Daddy sent Mommy the most beautiful red roses on her birthday and they've been keeping my office smelling fresh all week.

Mommies girlfriends took her out the weekend before to a pottery glazing party and then out for drinks afterward.  It was so much fun to spend time with them and get out for a little me time, which might have included one to many glasses of wine.

Avery turned 3 months on November 18th! Time needs to slow down!!! She's changing so much every week.

She's discovered her hands and loves holding on to anything you put in them.  She also is starting to have the cutest laugh, it's not there yet but in the next week or so she'll figure it out.  She's making lots of cute noises and has become a tummy time expert.  We are so lucky that Rachel loves taking videos and pictures of Avery during the day while we are at work, it definitely makes me feel better that i'm not missing everything. It must have been so hard for your Nana to be at work all day and not be able to see mommy like I get to see you.

Daddy dressed her in Vikings gear for the Chicago/Minnesota game, Chicago won (she needs Bears stuff)

We continue to try to get ourselves used to our new schedule of mommy working and daddy traveling every week.  It has certainly been a big adjustment for all of us (mommy in particular) but thanks to our nanny Rachel we are doing so much better than we thought.  Avery gets lots of snuggles with both mommy and daddy - and we have set nights for one on one time.

Friendsgiving

It's November - which is now my third favorite month of the year.  August when every blessed us with her arrival, October when Dave and I got married and November because I love my birthday!!! Typical only child I guess but I don't care, bring on the celebration.

We started our fun week with dinner with Lindsey and Brian Thomas, they came over for a drink and then we took them to dinner at Peasantry.  There is a new menu which was so yummy and we had a great time catching up.

This week was a particularly difficult week for mommy as I had to go back to work on Friday.  I wasn't short on photos and videos of my little peanut because our nanny Rachel was amazing and kept me entertained all day with beautiful photos of you.  Your Auntie Britini was also extra sweet and sent Mommy flowers at her office which also brightened up my day.

Friday night we headed up to Barrington to Nana and Papa's house for you to have a night with them while we went out to celebrate Geoff's 31st birthday with our IU group.  We headed to Schaumberg while you snuggled in for the night.  We had a great time with everyone, it's so nice to have our group together.

On Saturday we stayed in Barrington for the day - Nana and Papa left for Florida and you and Daddy and a father/daughter afternoon while mommy went to the Ladies Luncheon in Barrington.  Auntie Britini was so sweet to include mommy in such a fun event, It was a very nice event with a silent and live auction as well as a fashion show.
