So Many Milestones

Our little peanut is such a smarty pants! I'm sure every parent thinks that but I'm ok with that.  It's so fun watching her grow and learn and in these last few weeks she has really been learning more and more.  Avery has learned how to clap, some sign language - the word more while she's eating and has started to say Dada.  She's also crawling up on her knees and pulling herself up on everything.  She loves opening all the cabinets and playing with the tupperware or anything that we will let her disassemble and reorganize.  We'll call this post a vlog instead since I've included a bunch of videos of her - which are so fun to watch anyway.

9 Month Photos

In keeping with our every three month photos, we shot our 9 month session at Nana and Papa's house.  It was a great change to the sessions because we were able to be outside and take advantage of their beautiful property and they were able to join us! We absolutely love our photographer Sam from Teeny Turtle Photography! She is exceptional with great ideas and we always end up having the best pictures. 

Memorial Day 2015

Memorial Day 2015!! I was so excited to have a long weekend with Peanut.  Mommy has been traveling so much with her new job, and while it's usually day trips and an overnight here and there it certainly has taken a lot out of me and I can't get enough time with my little lady.  It also means quality family time with Daddy home as well.

Friday night after work we headed out to Barrington to spend half the weekend up there.  That night we went to Priscilla and John's house for a BBQ, however we were a little late bc peanut had a hard time falling asleep that night.  It had been awhile since you last slept at Nana and Papa's.  Saturday we enjoyed the weather, went to MJ's 3rd birthday party while you napped (thanks Nana and Papa for watching you) and then cooked out at their house.  We had Mommy's favorite, Melrose Ribs!!!

Sunday we headed back to the city to have a few days together the three of us.  When we got back the weather was perfect so we headed to the park for a walk and to enjoy the city.

2nd Annual Preclampsia Walk - Team Hope

May 17th was a wonderful day as we all gathered together in support of your Auntie Britini and Matt Wilkens at the 2nd Annual Preclampsia Walk in honor of your soul sister Hope Michelle Wilkens.  It's hard to believe that it's already been a year since we walked and you were in my belly last time.

It was a fabulous day with lots of friends and family there to support and raise money and awareness for the disease.  We had so much fun getting tickets for the raffles and bidding on the silent auction. Daddy ran the race and came in 12th and you and Mommy walked with Auntie Kristin and Auntie Britini. Mommy also won you an American Girl doll from the raffle... it will be awhile till you can enjoy it, but how exciting that we won you something!
