Gavin 5 Months

Gavin turned 5 months old on March 22, 2017.  I enjoyed March as my final month of maternity leave prior to returning to work on 3.27. Gavin has continued to become the sweetest little boy a mommy could ask for.  He has been sleeping through the night for a month now and has switched to bottles except for the morning when I nurse him.  Still exclusive breast milk which  means Mama is pumping all the time! The good news is that we have a serious reserve in the freezer!!

Gavin has the most adorable giggle and it's happening more and more.  He gets so excited to play peak a boo and kicks his legs in his chair all the time.

While we love our house it was getting old taking his bouncy seat up and down the stairs every day.  We decided to get a second one for the first floor. Since we tend to give him bottles in the seat. 

He loves his activity center, he can spend 30 min in there and be totally entertained. 

Avery is also the best big sister! Gavin loves watching her and she loves checking on him and playing with him.  They couldn't be cuter together. 

We continue to let Gavin lay on his tummy, strengthen his head - he prefers to do it in only his diaper. 

I took out the bouncy seat and he wasn't quite sure what to do with at first so he just played with the toys on the front - give him time and he'll be bouncing in no time.

We've also been working on sitting up - which gives him a whole new perspective and freedom

Avery Ballet

One of the things I was most excited to sign Avery up for was ballet.  I wanted to wait until she was 2.5 and thought towards the end of my maternity leave would be the perfect time.  We got to go to class together and start to learn what dance class was all about. 

While we loved our teacher Miss Lindsey at Baby Take a Bow - they closed their doors.  We started a new class at Fairytale Ballet where Avery goes into class by herself.  Pictures to come!
