We started our Christmas morning with our traditional breakfast. It includes a yummy egg bake, fruit and this year i made monkey bread! It was delicious.

Waiting to open stockings with Daddy
After breakfast we opened stockings, this year Avery was much more involved in opening her stockings and gifts. We rushed to see if Santa had eaten the cookies we left out - and he did!
Stocking time
After stockings we headed downstairs to see all the goodies that Santa brought.... he was VERY generous this year and we are so so grateful. Avery had so much ripping through the paper, watching the dogs play with ribbons and playing with all her new toys.
I think we over did it
Someone is so excited to open presents!

Literally the best one........
That afternoon Thomas, Carolin and Emma came over to join us for Christmas Dinner. The holidays are all about celebrating with family and friends and since the Winter's family couldn't fly in from Germany we wanted them to join us. Avery and Emma are such good friends and they play so well together.

December 26th was exactly how it should be, the three of us stayed in our jammies all day, ate leftovers and Avery played with all her new toys while we watched.
