And it's still going :) 4 days past my due date but we've been keeping busy and having a pretty good time.
Friday night past my due date 3+ days past
We had our 40 week appointment and we're still waiting for our little girl. We found out that we wont get induced until August 17th, so unless she decides to come before that, that's when this party is going to get started. We also found out that she is 43cm and her heartbeat is normal. They did a fluid check which was normal as well as hooking me up to a fetal monitor to check her movement and heartbeat, also normal. Unfortunately i'm not dilated one bit. It's hard to see her at this point on the ultrasounds because it's crammed in there for our chubby girl, but we got the most adorable pic of her little tootsie.
Saturday morning our friends Dan and Allison flew in from DC for Grossman's wedding. We met up with them for brunch at Frances with Matt and Michelle Finder and Vranek. Everyone came by our house afterward to see Baby Girl's nursery and enjoy some hangout time on the deck. That night Kara and Ross came downtown for dinner and stopped by for a drink before hand. We went to an Italian place Vince with Dan, Allison, Kara, Ross, Geoff, Katrina and four of Allison's friends from DC. We had a great time and it was really nice to be out and spending time with everyone.
Sunday morning was Josh and Bekah's wedding. Of course we didn't think that we originally would be able to attend because we though our little lady would be here, but since that clearly didn't happen we were able to join in on the fun. We love getting our IU crew together and it's few and far between since everyone is scattered across the country.
The wait continues....... next Dr. appt is Tuesday. Stay Tuned......
