What an amazing two weeks it has been!! Even though our world has been turned upside down, it's been truly amazing to watch Avery grow these last two weeks.
At our second pediatrician appointment we found out that Avery now weighs 9lbs 14oz and is 21.5 inches long and her head is 14 inches round. Since she has passed her birth weight we can let her go 6 hours between feedings which means we don't have to wake her in the middle of the night. The last few nights we've been lucky and she's slept 4 hours at a time.. what a difference from every two hours!!
In her first two weeks of life we've tried to get back to our routine as much a possible with a two week old baby :) We've been to the pediatrician twice, several brunches, a couple walks, had a couple baths and driven out to Barrington to have lunch with my family at the club.
Every day I learn something new from Avery, it's amazing how much can change from day to day. She is eating A LOT and sometimes will feed wait 20 minutes and feed again... when we've given her a bottle it usually ends up being almost four ounces!!
Can't wait for more exciting adventures with our adorable little peanut and how she will change tomorrow. We love her so much and are loving this new time in our lives.
