Happy 1st Father's Day

It was Daddy's first father's day this year so we wanted to make sure it was extra special for him.  We headed out to Barrington so that Daddy could enjoy some golf with Papa.  While they golfed Mommy, Nana and peanut headed to the pool to enjoy some fun in the sun.

10 Months Old

Avery Nell is already 10 months old as of June 14th!! She is thriving and is such a fun little girl.  It's such a fun age and watching the transformation of her becoming a toddler is really cool. We don't have another Dr. appointment until Avery is 1 so we are going to have to guess her weight until then, however my guess is she hasn't gained anything and has maybe lost some weight.  She is moving around so much and keeping busy she's really starting to lean out.

Avery learning all sorts of sign language, she is crawling on her knees 100% of the time as of 5/22/2015, she has started to cruise along the furniture 6/15/15, she has 7 teeth; four on top and three on the bottom, she loves music and has started to dance a little when she hears it.  She has so much fun chasing Brisco, emptying the Tupperware cabinet.  She loves sorting things and making different piles and loves feeling different textures in her hands. She has started to understand the clean up song and will sometimes help put her toys away before a nap or bedtime and still LOVES bathtime!!

You've started to love playing with all your fun hair clips - Mommy was sneaky and got a great video of you organizing. 

Sometimes after work, you and Mommy go for a walk in the carrier.  It's a nice change to the stroller and you love kicking your legs as we walk together.  It's usually to get forever yogurt for mommy but in less than two months you'll get to also enjoy some yogurt!

You love to read! Your Bubbie got you a great book that makes baby animal sounds.  

It didn't take you too long to decide you no longer want to be standing in your activity center but crawling under it and through it.

So Many Milestones

Our little peanut is such a smarty pants! I'm sure every parent thinks that but I'm ok with that.  It's so fun watching her grow and learn and in these last few weeks she has really been learning more and more.  Avery has learned how to clap, some sign language - the word more while she's eating and has started to say Dada.  She's also crawling up on her knees and pulling herself up on everything.  She loves opening all the cabinets and playing with the tupperware or anything that we will let her disassemble and reorganize.  We'll call this post a vlog instead since I've included a bunch of videos of her - which are so fun to watch anyway.

9 Month Photos

In keeping with our every three month photos, we shot our 9 month session at Nana and Papa's house.  It was a great change to the sessions because we were able to be outside and take advantage of their beautiful property and they were able to join us! We absolutely love our photographer Sam from Teeny Turtle Photography! She is exceptional with great ideas and we always end up having the best pictures.
