We hosted Christmas at our home for the 2nd year. It was certainly much smoother than Thanksgiving was - Gavin was now 2 months old and I was feeling better and better. Avery and Mommy woke up on Christmas Eve to make our Christmas day egg bake. It's super yummy and she did such a wonderful job helping Mommy, she is becoming quite the su chef.
Whisking the eggs
So proud of her finished product
We had an easy day, relaxed at the house and got ready for Nana, Papa and Great Aunt Jane to join us in the city. We listened to Christmas music, Avery did some art projects and was getting really excited for Santa to visit.

Avery loves holding her brother, he doesn't feel the same apparently..
Finally got it!
Nana, Avery and Aunt Jane
We repeated our Christmas Eve tradition and got everything from Eataly and had a delicious Italian Pasta dinner with sausage, garlic bread and a meat and cheese appetizer.
Daddy and Gavin
We did our best to get a quick family photo...
December 24th was also the first night of Chanukah, so Dave and Avery lit the candles and did the prayer together.
Before bed we got our our Santa cup and plate and wrote our note. Dear Santa, We want Paw Patrol Juice and Mickey Mouse Juice. Love Avery and Gavin. She was sure that Paw Patrol makes juice. We put cookies on the plate and filled our cup with Milk and got ready for bed.
Christmas morning was so fun. Everyone put on their Santa Clause jammies and we were comfy all day long. Avery is really loving snapchat so we have fun playing with all the filters.
After breakfast we headed over to our stockings and opened all the goodies from Santa in our Stalkings and check out if he ate his cookies.
Avery got lots of Paw Patrol and Mickey Mouse items, books, bath toys, coloring books!
