And the good cheer keeps on going! This year we decided to change up our Christmas traditions. We headed out to Barrington to have dinner with the Larson's which was very nice and then went to the annual Chritmas Eve brunch with the Barrington crew.

Another change this year is we made an Italian Pasta Dinner, we stopped at Eataly and bough lots of yummy goodies - fresh Foccacia, fresh pasta, meatballs, truffle sauce and lots of cheese.

wiped out on our way back to the city
That afternoon as we headed back to the city we geared up for Christmas Eve and Christmas in our new house for the first time. We wanted to start those traditions this year for Avery and have Santa know where we live. We had a nice casual family night hanging out in the basement, with appetizers, Rose and final gift wrapping and assembly.

We did our first year of milk and cookies, and rolos for Santa this year. Avery was so excited to set the plate out and leave her note to Santa. She also ate A LOT of the cookies before we realized they needed to stay on the plate :)
"I've Been Good" - enough said!
That night Nana read Avery The Night Before Christmas before going to bed. Another new tradition that I think will be so nice to continue year after year.
