The Walter Family: 7 Months Old

Peanut is 7 months old!! Mommy is a little delayed with her blog posts, life has been a little crazy. For Avery's 7 Month day we had to do things a little earlier than usual because we were getting ready to head to Florida for spring break to see Nana and Papa so we themed our pictures St. Patty's day. Peanut looked adorable in her little outfit and had so much fun posing with her hat on and with Brisco as she does every month now. It's been fun to see her grow and use Brisco as our size guide.

At 7 months old Avery is SO much FUN! We don't know her exact weight but I don't think she's gained that much since her 6 month check up so we are going to say around 20lbs. She is becoming so strong, she sits up so well. She's been trying to crawl however her belly gets in her way but she's got great strength in her arms and can go side to side and rolls to get where she wants to go - she'll push up onto her hands and knees but hasn't quite put the steps together yet. Plenty of time for that we'll enjoy her stationary as long as we can. She's certainly found her voice and is so funny to listen to all the noises she makes.

Biggest moment so far is she said Momma which melted my heart and we actually got it on video which is sooo special to have and watch. We've evolved our toys and she's very into her blocks and stacking toys as well as all of her tub toys. No new teeth yet but she's chewing all the time. We've introduced some new foods; Blueberries, Avocados, Zucchini, Butternut Squash, and Peaches.

We had lots of fun getting ready for our spring break trip to Florida - we started doing countdown days and trying on some spring looks. Mommy also had a blast shopping for you to make sure my growing girl had clothes that fit - you pretty much decided to go from wearing 6 mo sizes to 12 mo size - all together skipped 9 mo..haha
